Frequently Asked...

Appointments

You never need an appointment at SBB... feel free to stop in anytime to drop your bike off for service.  Appointments, however, are available and can be helpful in not being without your bike too long.  We do require a $10 appointment fee to reserve your spot.  Appointments need to be dropped off the day before or the morning of your scheduled appointment.  Call or Stop in to book your appointment.

Turnaround Time

Turnaround time for appointments is 24hrs.  For all other services, turnaround time is based on current workload.  During off-season months of November-February you can expect to wait only about a day or two for your bike.  During peak months turnaround can stretch out as far as 3 weeks without an appointment.  For most small repairs such as flat repairs, etc., we do our best to fix it while you wait.

Free Estimates

We welcome and encourage everyone to stop in anytime for a free estimate on your bike.  We are happy to look it over and tell you what it needs, Whether is a full tuneup or just a derailleur adjustment and a wheel that needs trued.  We will give you a full breakdown of repairs needed and the cost, with no obligation for you to commit.  You can also stop in anytime to request a la carte repairs.

Bike Brands We Service...

We are more than happy to work on any and all bike brands*. Trek, Specialized, Canyon, Giant...we've seen and worked on it all, even the highest end pedigree race bikes from these brands.  In some cases we may need proprietary brand specific parts provided to us by you, but often times we can get these using our extensive industry connections.  (*Some e-bike brands will not be serviced by SBB)

E-Bike Service

We service the analog (non e-bike) components of all e-bike brands, but we only service the motors and electronics of brands we sell and brands that use well known mid drive units (Bosch, Shimano, etc.)  We also require that all non-SBB Brand e-bikes that come to the shop have the battery removed.  (Since we don't work on the electronic components of these bikes, there is no need for the battery).
